quality guidelines

quality and acceptable standards

With many of the processes requiring hours of manual labor, there will be slight variances in our products however we strive our best to mitigate these issues as much as possible. If you require any assistance do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Dye Sublimation is a manual labour intensive process which includes alignment of the film thus, there may be slight variations and tolerances between each keycap. There are a number of guidelines and quality control procedures in place to limit the number of keycaps that do not meet our quality standards. However, there are certain quality expectations that are considered acceptable and can only be seen upon closer inspection.

Some examples may include:

  • Alignment of legends or drift
  • Minor discoloration or color fading
  • Warping of keycap especially with longer keycaps (DIY Fixable here)
  • Slight scratch or marks during manufacturing & handling (very faint marks are considered acceptable)

We strive to avoid such issues and to provide the best in quality for our keycaps however please be aware that by purchasing any of our dye-sub products, you are agreeing to the above terms.

Kindly contact support if there is an issue not stated above or if there is a significant imperfection in regard to the issues stated above.

There will be differences in colors seen in renders and in real life. this is due to various factors, including monitor differences, lighting, and colour matching processes. Multiple rounds of colour matching are done and then approved by the designer to ensure the product is as representative of the renders as possible.

There may be slight variances in the alignment of borders on deskmats. Subtle alignment variances are considered acceptable.

Deskmats that are inspired by our keycap collections may not be an exact match in colour due to the difference in materials.
